Principles of Transparent Checklist
1. Website
The journal's website was created with respect for high ethical and professional standards. We are constantly updating the usability of the site, e.g. facilitating navigation, recently published articles.
2. Peer review process
Peer review is double blind. Every original article is peer reviewed by a minimum of two external experts and verified by one section editor. In all cases the manuscript is also finally reviewed by one of Editor-in-Chief. Authors may suggest external reviewers that are qualified to peer review the manuscript, provided that they have not collaborated closely in the near past and that they are not from the same institution. Authors may also note peer reviewers who they would not prefer to review this paper (information to editors).
3. Editorial board
The journal has an editorial board whose members are recognized experts in their field, at the regional and international level. Full names and affiliations are listed on the website. The ultimate governing body is the Editorial Board and the Editor-in-Chief.
4. Copyrights and Licenses
Copyright is clearly stated on the journal's website and the license terms are in the file.
5. Copyright fees
The journal does not charge any fees for the publication of articles.
6. Publication ethics
All manuscripts are checked for plagiarism by Ithenticate. The website provides a policy on publishing ethics.
7. Access
The journal is open access and therefore freely available to readers, with no subscription or viewing fees. The number of direct downloads and full-text views for each article is listed next to the article summary in the "stats" tab.
8. Archiving
To ensure digital preservation for the future, our electronic publications are archived not only on journal website, but on repository of University of Zielona Góra (https://zbc.uz.zgora.pl/repozytorium/dlibra). We ensure that scholarly content published in electronic form will remain accessible for the long term.
